Robert has brought world-class creative and project management as well as new business expertise to all his endeavors - across digital platforms, traditional media, experiential, event production, internal communications, and sales.
Robert has executive and co-produced numerous feature films and web series and has been the voice-over for many entertainment campaigns, products, and sales reels.
Raised in New York, Robert attended Northwestern University and double majored in Political Science and Radio, TV, and Film. He was President of The Political Science Honor Society, Lacrosse mid-fielder, featured Reggae DJ on the radio station WNUR, and writer/producer/editor of numerous local cable and university projects.
Robert began his professional entertainment marketing career at Kaleidoscope Films, as an assistant editor with the award-winning staff creating campaigns for such films as Point Break, Prince of Tides, JFK, and Schindler’s List and edited his first TV spots for Rodney Dangerfield’s Ladybugs.
Following his tenure at Kaleidoscope, Robert cut his teeth (pun intended) in long form creative marketing as the Assist Editor for the HBO Behind the Scene’s Documentary Bloodlines: The Making of Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula.
At Universal Studios , Robert edited numerous Featurettes including Jurassic Park, 3 Days in The Valley, Bound, Fluke, and Candy Man.
Before evolving into the roles of copywriter and producer, Robert edited award-winning campaigns for Pulp Fiction and The Mask of Zorro as well as countless other domestic and international trailers such as the theatrical re-releases of Ghostbusters 1 and 2, Stripes, and Tootsie.
Overseeing a staff of 45 for over a decade, Robert was Partner and Senior Creative Producer of Winston Davis & Associates (WDA) a leading entertainment marketing agency known for some of the most successful Home Entertainment campaigns in Hollywood history, including the 9 season Seinfeld on DVD series as well as the International box office hit Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
Robert executive produced numerous special shoot productions and built a motion graphics department that raised the creative bar in design for box art integration for DVD and Blu-Ray campaigns.
Following his tenure at WDA, Robert spearheaded Illumin8 Creative - a full service creative agency featuring world-class production, editorial and design in the realms of luxury real estate, wineries, product marketing, sales, corporate communications and entertainment. Featured projects include a 360 creative media campaign for premiere winery Frank Family Vineyards, a web series for Bank of The West and new business initiatives for San Jose movie theater advertising/content provider Cinespots.
Robert currently helms Solomon Creative, a full service creative agency in Los Angeles.
